Week with mom 2023

Heres a video from the week of August 12 to 19th.  We went from Juneau to Sitka.

More Alaska

Another great week up here in Alaska!  With a solitary bubble-netter, we watched herring get eaten.

And a few orcas as well

And then a group of cooperative bubble-netters, from the skiffs!

Here is what the herring look like, we picked this one up from the water, it had been stunned by the whales and was just floating around there.

I got to do an awesome hike, up the Grand Pacific Glacier, and into Canada, then back.

We had a special treat for everyone when we got to canada

I passed this lake in the middle of the glacier, it was the same lake that I saw with Danny last year, but a little less water.

A couple neat birds, A grouse

And a pigeon Gillemot

And a nice little otter.
