I'm on break now, but this is a post about my last week in Alaska (until three weeks from now).
It is High Summer right now, and the salmon have just started to run. I love the salmon, I love how they jump out of the water and fight the current and go up the rivers. I love how they taste too.
So do all the animals. This mama brown bear caught two while we were watching.
Also this past week, I saw my first Octopus! It was being eaten by a Sea Otter though... Sad. An Epic battle between Sea Otter and Krakken! (see picture below)
Of course I love puffins, wouldn't you?

Western Coves
This is what the western coves trip looks like. Ferns, Bears, Whales, more whales and BLUE ice. Ahh, alaska.
Oh, and Sitka Spruce cones.
I will only get to do this route once more this summer, so it was neat to see it. I love Glacier Bay, but I also love Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm.

Animals!
Alaska has produced a lot of animals this week. We got to see Orca Whales twice, and I went to Anan Creek Bear Observatory, which is super awesome...
I love Glacier Bay, but I also Love the Eastern Coves trip, from Juneau to Ketchikan. We went up Tracy Arm, then to Baird Glacier (see kite shot) and walked on the moraine, and then we saw Orcas and went to Wrangell, where I got to go to Anan Creek Bear Observatory. At Anan, there were great and wonderful bears, which I love.
